Hillside Hideaway

Secluded two-bedroom, one bath luxury cabin nestled inside the exclusive Gated Legacy Trails Cabin community in Smithville, Oklahoma.  This cabin is embedded within 2.8 wooded acres of private land with scenic hillside views.  Accommodations for 4-6 guests comfortably with a queen-sized bed in each bedroom and sofa sleeper in the main living area.

This cabin is under new ownership, effective December 2020.

 

This high-end cabin is located 35 minutes North of Beavers Bend near the Upper Mountain Fork River in the Kiamichi Mountains and has beautiful workmanship, inside and out. It is gorgeously decorated with all new furniture, including handmade queen Aspen log beds.  Shelving has been added in the closets.  The living room has floor to ceiling rock stone and includes a gas fireplace for those cold, romantic Oklahoma nights.  The kitchen is fully equipped and furnished with modern appliances, which includes a Keurig coffee maker. Outdoors: swing in the morning on the front patio or enjoy the amazing view from the back deck.  Custom Cornhole boards for your outdoor pleasure.  The Mountain Fork River is a short walk or drive away with a kayak launching site (kayaks and vests are available for Legacy Trails cabins guest use).  Walk down to the fire pit to roast smores with family and friends.  There is an assortment of DVD movies and board games as well as cable (Direct TV) and Free WIFI internet.   The only thing this cabin is missing is you!!

This cabin was exactly as advertised. It was clean, cozy, and comfortable for all of us. We stayed over Thanksgiving and it had all the kitchen tools we needed to prepare our meal. Unfortunately it rained while we were there but the focus of the trip was to relax and do nothing, so we were able to do that. The beds were very comfortable and there were plenty of linens and towels. If you’re looking for a nice quiet getaway, this is a great place to visit!
